Bernard Scott Thompson was born in a small town in Northern Michigan. He lived with his parents on a small farm with his 5 siblings and they had a meager existence. He was an average student with a big dream. He has always been an adventurer with not much fear. He has lived in three states and now lives with his family in a small town in the hills near San Diego. He shares this property with his beautiful wife, their 3 children, 23 chickens, 10 quail, 12 koi fish, and one dog. This is his story of getting out of poverty and following his dreams to change his direction and lifestyle so his family would have a better life than what he grew up with. He has never considered himself a writer and this is his first book. Included are stories of his success and failure in business and some of his travel adventures. These endeavors were possible because of his “never give up” attitude.
